Arizona Man Pleads Guilty to Wife's Murder After Reporting Her Missing
Arizona man pleads guilty to wife's murder after reporting her missing. Tara Capps found dead in storage tote. Family seeks justice.

An Indianapolis woman, Tara Capps, 36, who was reported missing, was found dead inside a storage tote in the woods one week after she was reported missing. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) confirmed that her body was discovered in a wooded area on the city's south side. Capps' family received a tip that she could potentially be found in a wooded area behind a food distribution center on South Keystone Avenue. When they went out to search for her, they tragically found her dead inside a storage tote.
Tara Capps' mother, Virginia Summers, expressed her grief, saying, "It’s hard. I don’t wish this on anybody." She identified Capps as her oldest daughter and mentioned that Capps did not deserve such a fate, calling those responsible "just a monster" and the act "uncalled-for."

IMPD is treating the case as a homicide investigation and has not yet released any information regarding a suspect, motive, or manner of death. The police department is examining several leads and awaits the autopsy report, which is expected early next week.
