Armed Man Near Republican National Convention in Milwaukee Arrested, Intentions Unclear

A suspect was apprehended near the site of the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee for carrying an AK-47 pistol in a tactical bag. The individual, wearing a ski mask, was taken into custody by Homeland Security Investigators and Capitol Police who were conducting surveillance. The arrest took place just blocks away from the Fiserv Forum.
