Bryan Kohberger Claims Alibi, Spotted in Court for Idaho Murder Case
Bryan Kohberger appeared in court as his defense team sought dismissal of the Idaho murders case. He claims to have been driving during the killings.
Bryan Kohberger, the man accused of the tragic killing of four University of Idaho undergrads in a home invasion stabbing, appeared in court on Thursday afternoon. His defense team presented an alibi as they argued a motion to dismiss the Idaho murders case.
In a statement conveyed by his attorneys, Kohberger claimed that he was out driving on the night of the killings, which occurred on November 13, 2022. The court documents indicated that "Mr. Kohberger was out driving in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022; as he often did to hike and run and/or see the moon and stars." It was further revealed that he drove around the area south of Pullman, Washington, and west of Moscow, Idaho, including Wawawai Park.
Legal Proceedings
The defense team's efforts to dismiss the case based on this alibi have prompted intense scrutiny. The court proceedings are ongoing, and the case has garnered widespread attention. The judge is expected to make a ruling on the motion in the coming days.
