Campbellsville University Student Murdered, Suspect in Custody

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of a student at Campbellsville University in Kentucky. The victim, 18-year-old Josiah Malachi Kilman, was found unresponsive in his dorm room and later died in the hospital. The suspect, 21-year-old Charles E. Escalera, was apprehended after a manhunt and is being held on murder charges. The motive and relationship between the suspect and victim are unknown. Campbellsville University was placed on lockdown during the search for the suspect. The incident comes shortly after a 22-year-old nursing student was killed at the University of Georgia.
