Cybertruck Vandalised with Nazi Swastika in Brooklyn Attack

Two men vandalized a Tesla Cybertruck in Brooklyn, carving "Nazis" and a swastika onto it before fleeing.

The New York Police Department's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating after two men were caught on camera vandalizing a Tesla Cybertruck early Thursday morning in Brooklyn. The incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m. at 730 Monroe Street, where the suspects carved the word "Nazis" and a swastika onto the doors of the vehicle before fleeing on foot.

According to an NYPD spokesperson, the two men have not yet been apprehended. Video footage from the Cybertruck's safety camera shows the individuals taking turns drawing on the Tesla vehicle. The footage has been released by the NYPD as part of their investigation.

A Pattern of Hateful Vandalism

This incident is not an isolated case. Earlier in March, another person was reportedly seen carving a swastika onto a different Cybertruck in an unrelated incident. Ben Hamo, the Jewish owner of that vehicle, expressed his feelings of anger and distress to the New York Post, stating, "I feel myself burning inside."

Elon Musk Blames Far-Left Propaganda

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has publicly blamed the far left for inciting the vandalism on Teslas. In an interview with Fox News' Bret Baier, Musk asserted that those pushing propaganda are responsible for influencing individuals to commit such acts. He emphasized that the real problem lies not with the perpetrators but with the source of their anger and misinformation.

"They are being fed propaganda by the far left, and they believe it," Musk said. "It's the people pushing the propaganda that caused that guy to do it. Those are the real villains here."

Musk further stated that the issue extends beyond vandalism against Tesla vehicles and reflects a broader societal problem of violence fueled by extremist ideologies.

FBI Launches Task Force on Tesla Attacks

The FBI has acknowledged the escalating violence toward Tesla and has taken steps to address it. On Monday, the FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives launched a task force dedicated to investigating and mitigating threats against Tesla. FBI Director Kash Patel characterized the attacks as domestic terrorism and vowed to pursue those responsible.

Director Patel tweeted, "This is domestic terrorism. Those responsible will be pursued, caught, and brought to justice."

"As always, Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino have been adamant about responsiveness to agents on the ground and providing them the resources they need to serve Americans," FBI spokesman Ben Williamson told Fox News Digital at the time. "This task force is just the latest move in coordinating our efforts to ensure those who violently attack Tesla will be pursued and brought to justice."
