The allegations against Le Scouarnec span across different stages of his life, starting with his prior conviction in 2005 for possessing child sexual abuse imagery. Despite this, he was able to continue his career as a surgeon, working in various clinics and private hospitals in western and central France for over three decades.
Discovery of Evidence
His arrest in 2017 for exposing himself to a 6-year-old neighbor triggered a police investigation into his past actions. The search of his home revealed disturbing evidence, including diaries and writings that depicted a pattern of abuse over a span of 25 years. This discovery led to his conviction in 2020 for sexually assaulting or raping four young girls, including his own sister's daughters.
