Delta Air Lines Launches Nonstop Flight from Memphis to Austin Starting May 2025

Memphis International Airport (MEM) has officially announced that Delta Air Lines will be launching a daily nonstop flight between Memphis and Austin

Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) in Texas starting May 7, 2025. This new connection aims to provide passengers with nonstop travel options between Memphis and Austin, enhancing air travel convenience for both business and leisure travelers.

Michael Keeney, chairman of the Board of Commissioners for Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, expressed enthusiasm for the new flight, stating that Delta's expansion of service at MEM would greatly benefit passengers by offering them nonstop connectivity to Austin. The addition of this flight marks an important milestone in strengthening air travel links between the two cities.

Delta will operate the Memphis to Austin route using a 76-seat Embraer 175 aircraft, ensuring a comfortable travel experience for passengers. For those interested in booking their tickets, they can do so on the Delta website, www.delta.com. The introduction of the Austin flight brings Delta's total number of destinations at MEM to eight, joining  other popular routes including Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York (LGA), and Salt Lake City.

Passengers planning to travel from Memphis to Austin will have the opportunity to depart at 7:05 a.m. CST, with an expected arrival at 9:05 a.m. CST. Conversely, for those looking to return from Austin to Memphis, the flight is scheduled to depart at 7:59 p.m. CST and arrive in Memphis at  9:05 p.m. CST. It's worth noting that the flight schedule may be subject to change; therefore, travelers are encouraged to stay updated with any modifications.
