Devastating floods claim lives and destroy homes in Jablanica area

Duda Sutlic, a local resident, expressed disbelief at the destruction, stating, "It is difficult to believe that an orchard, garage, car, and another smaller house were here. Everything disappeared in 10 minutes." The emotional toll on the community was palpable, with residents grappling with the sudden loss of their livelihoods.

In a poignant reflection of their plight, another resident, Admir Poturovic, shared, "Everything that my father created and that I have created after him disappeared in 30 minutes." Meteorologist Nedim Sladic revealed that the region around Jablanica received more rainfall in under six hours than what is typically recorded over three to four months.
