On May 20, a significant incident took place at a construction site on Interstate 93, resulting in the arrest of a dump truck operator for alleged impairment while on duty. At approximately 11 p.m., State Police received a request to check the welfare of a commercial driver working at the construction site. It was reported that the driver, identified as Michael R. Pellerin, 49, of Manchester, was suspected to be operating the large dump truck under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Arrest and Testing

Trooper Noah Gooch responded to the area and encountered Pellerin, and after observing indicators of impairment, conducted a field sobriety test. Following the test, Pellerin was placed under arrest for aggravated DWI and was subsequently transported to the Troop D barracks. He was later released on personal recognizance, with instructions to appear in Hooksett District Court at a later date.
