According to an insider source, Musk will address the audience at Trump's pre-inaugural rally scheduled to take place at the Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C. on Sunday.

Musk's Political Involvement

Musk, who reportedly invested over a quarter-billion dollars in the previous year's campaign, was inducted by Trump to co-chair an advisory committee called the "Department of Government Efficiency," or "DOGE," aiming to significantly reduce government spending, regulations, and the federal workforce shortly after Trump's electoral victory in November.

Notable Speakers

Other distinguished individuals slated to speak prior to Trump's address include Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO Dana White, Vice President-elect JD Vance, retired professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, conservative media personality Megyn Kelly, and top Trump aide Stephen Miller. Members of Trump's immediate family are also expected to deliver speeches at the event.

Musical Performances and Schedule

The rally will feature performances from renowned artists such as Kid Rock, Billy Ray Cyrus, and The Village People, who are famously known for their creation of "Y.M.C.A.," the anthem associated with Trump's rallies. Puerto Rican musical artist Anuel AA is also anticipated to be present at the rally, although he will be speaking instead of performing.

A spokesperson for the Trump transition team did not promptly respond to a request for comment from NBC News regarding the event. The rally program is scheduled to commence at 3 p.m. E.T. on Sunday, as indicated on the sign-up page on Trump's inauguration website. Additionally, Musk and other technology executives are expected to occupy prominent positions at the inauguration alongside Cabinet picks, elected officials, and other distinguished guests.
