Williamson County Sheriff Mark Elrod conveyed in a news briefing that upon arrival, first responders were met with a "rather large debris field," stretching approximately half a mile.

Search-and-Recovery Operation

Sheriff Elrod stated that it was swiftly apparent that the operation would be a search-and-recovery mission, indicating the severity of the crash. Moreover, the officials are currently uncertain about the exact location where the crash initiated and culminated.

The National Transportation Safety Board has taken charge of the investigation to determine the cause of the crash. Sheriff Elrod mentioned, "It does appear that the plane did break up in the air, unsure what caused that." As of now, the identities of the victims have not been made public. The crash site is situated approximately 20 miles south of Nashville, in Franklin, Tennessee.
