Fire at Air Force Academy Grounds Prompts Response from Colorado Springs Fire Department

The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) reported an ongoing fire on the Air Force Academy (AFA) grounds on Sunday afternoon. The CSFD stated that they were providing mutual aid for the fire burning on the AFA grounds, with a total of 31 CSFD personnel responding to the scene.

The fire was situated on the south end of the academy, north of the Pine Housing area, as confirmed by the AFA.
