Five Shot, One Dead in Targeted Shooting at Brooklyn's West Indian Day Parade Festival
A man died and a shooter remains at large after a targeted shooting at the West Indian Day parade in Brooklyn, injuring four others.
The individual responsible for this act of violence has been identified as a male in his 20s, characterized by a slender physique. Authorities reported that he was last seen donning a brown shirt adorned with paint stains and a black bandana.

The other four victims, who were also caught in the crossfire, included a 69-year-old woman injured in the shoulder, a 64-year-old man struck in the arm, a 16-year-old with an arm injury, and a 36-year-old man who was shot in the head. All four victims are reported to be in stable condition at Kings County Hospital, according to the New York Post.
As per reports from local authorities, a 25-year-old man, who was shot in the abdomen during the parade, has succumbed to his injuries. Originally placed in critical condition and later stabilized, he tragically passed away due to complications. The victim's identity has not yet been disclosed, pending family notification, although local media outlets suggest he hailed from Texas.
