Florida Jet Skier Rescued After Clinging to Rocks Off St. Lucie Inlet

A 53-year-old Florida man identified as Joseph Baricklow was successfully rescued after going missing for several hours following an incident where rough waters caused him to be thrown off his jet ski at the St. Lucie Inlet, marking a significant show of cooperation between local and federal authorities.

Baricklow's disappearance was reported after witnesses spotted his abandoned jet ski in the waters off the St. Lucie Inlet on Sunday, after which the Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) launched an extensive disturbance response involving deputies, aviation units, community policing units, and marine units.
