Florida Officials Release Body Cam Footage of Fatal Alligator Attack Incident

Last September a devastating alligator attack took the life of 41yearold Sabrina Peckham in Pinellas County Florida The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission FWC released body camera footage showing the harrowing scene as first responders arrived

Peckham who had been living as a transient near a canal became the victim of the massive alligator The FWC report indicated that she may have been walking to or from her campsite near the creek when the alligator attacked her from the water

Following the tragic incident Peckhams daughter Breauna Dorris expressed her immense grief on Facebook She mentioned that her mother was a part of the homeless population living in the nearby wooded area Later at a vigil for Peckham she expressed gratitude for the communitys support during such a challenging time
