The couple, Major Melvin, 89, and Claudette, 87, were discovered slain, and now authorities are appealing for information regarding the missing vehicle.

The stolen car is a red 2014 Ford Fusion with the Florida license plate LTDQ16. Police suspect that the perpetrator of the crime also stole the vehicle and have issued an all-points bulletin to aid in its recovery. Daughter's Account

Tonya Mitchell, the couple's daughter, revealed that the killer apparently entered through the front door, which was unusual as her parents typically kept it locked, preferring visitors to use the back entrance.
