Robert F. Kennedy Jr. asked to withdraw from presidential race
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. faces backlash from environmental groups, urging him to withdraw from the presidential race over his controversial beliefs.

As the race for the White House heats up, independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. presents himself as the ideal choice for the environment. He emphasizes his background as a tenacious lawyer known for taking on polluters in New York. However, his campaign faces significant opposition from his former colleagues at the Natural Resources Defense Council and other national environmental organizations.
Call for Withdrawal
In a bold move, the Natural Resources Defense Council's political arm plans to publish full-page advertisements in six swing states, urging Mr. Kennedy to withdraw from the presidential race. The group's associates argue that his candidacy could potentially divert crucial votes away from President Biden, ultimately benefiting former President Donald J. Trump, whose stance on climate change and environmental policies is at odds with their cause.
Allegations of Conspiracy and Science Denial
Besides the NRDC, twelve other prominent environmental organizations have publicly criticized Mr. Kennedy, labeling him as a "dangerous conspiracy theorist and a science denier." They accuse him of promoting harmful beliefs concerning vaccines and climate change, further intensifying the opposition to his campaign.
With these mounting challenges, the viability of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s presidential bid comes into question, as concerns grow over the potential impact of his candidacy on the forthcoming election.
