Former Medical Examiner's Office Investigator Arrested for Debit Card Fraud

A former investigator for a South Florida medical examiner’s office, Darrell Reid, was apprehended for allegedly pilfering debit card data from at least one deceased resident. He faces charges of fraudulent use of a deceased person's personal identification and a debit card. Reid purportedly swiped debit card information from a deceased individual during an investigation and subsequently transferred $450 to his girlfriend using Cash App.
