During the interview, Liz Cheney disclosed her father's intention to vote for Kamala Harris, stating, "If you think about the moment that we’re in, and you think about how serious this moment is, my dad believes and he’s said publicly that there’s never been an individual in our country who is as grave a threat to our democracy as Donald Trump is." Her statement indicates that Dick Cheney's decision to support Harris is rooted in his concerns about the current political climate and the perceived threat to democracy posed by Donald Trump.

Liz Cheney, known for being one of Donald Trump's staunch conservative critics, further emphasized her support for Kamala Harris during her announcement at Duke University. She argued that, given the danger Donald Trump poses, voters do not have the luxury of writing in candidates' names, especially in swing states. She firmly stated, "Because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris."

In response to Liz Cheney's endorsement of Kamala Harris, a spokesperson for the Trump campaign retorted, "Who the f--- is Liz Cheney?" This suggests that the Trump campaign is dismissing Liz Cheney's political views and endorsement as irrelevant.

In addition to endorsing Kamala Harris, Liz Cheney also expressed her support for Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas, in his Senate bid. Allred is challenging Republican Sen.
