Foul Play Suspected in Disappearance of Two Kansas Women Heading to Oklahoma

Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley from Kansas have disappeared mysteriously while en route to Oklahoma. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is currently suspecting "foul play" and is hopeful of finding them alive despite nearly a week passing since their disappearance.

Mysterious Disappearance

The two women went missing last Saturday in a rural area of Oklahoma while on their way to pick up children. The OSBI revealed that evidence suggesting foul play was found in the victims' abandoned vehicle.

Despite the circumstances, the OSBI's public information manager, Hunter McKee, expressed hope for finding the women alive. He emphasized the importance of gathering tips and information from anyone who may have seen or interacted with the women before their disappearance.

Heath Kelley, the pastor husband of Jilian, shared a church’s prayer on Facebook, seeking the safe return of the two missing women. The prayer asks for divine intervention, comfort, and guidance for those involved in the search.

Physical Descriptions

Veronica Butler is described as five-feet four-inches tall with red hair and green eyes, along with distinct tattoos. On the other hand, Jilian Kelley has brown hair, blue eyes, and a butterfly tattoo on her left forearm. Detailed clothing descriptions for both women at the time of their disappearance were also provided.

Location of Abandoned Vehicle

The vehicle the two women were traveling in was found abandoned near Highway 95 and Road L, south of Elkhart, Kansas, in rural Texas County. This area is close to the Oklahoma-Kansas border.
