On Monday, a brush fire caused heavy smoke to be visible near Interstate 95 along Donald Ross Road in Palm Beach Gardens, according to officials.

Firefighting Efforts

At 6 p.m., both Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue teams were actively working to extinguish the flames, as reported by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. The fire, which was approximately 2 acres in size, was first reported by a 911 caller at around 4:40 p.m. The caller reported heavy smoke in the area near the Alton neighborhood close to the interstate.

There was no immediate information available regarding the cause of the fire.
