Startling findings were made by individuals cleaning out a recently purchased residence in western Colorado. Specifically, they stumbled upon a human head and hands concealed within a freezer on January 12. Post-mortem examinations confirmed the nature of the remains, according to authorities from the Mesa County Sheriff's Office. The property, situated in Grand Junction, approximately 200 miles from Denver, was the location of this unsettling discovery. Sheriff's spokesperson Wendy Likes mentioned that investigators have been in contact with the previous owners of the home. Although officials have refrained from disclosing the victim's gender or the cause of death, efforts are being made to identify the individual while maintaining sensitivity towards the victim and their family. The community has been assured that there is no present danger, as authorities do not suspect any ongoing threat.
