Hunt Continues for Two Escaped Inmates in Arkansas

Authorities are intensifying the search for two inmates who escaped from the Jefferson County jail in Arkansas over the weekend. The escapees, Jatonia Bryan and Noah Roush, were discovered missing on Monday morning, and their whereabouts are still unknown. Bryan, 23, was being held on murder charges, while Roush, 22, was detained for burglary. Both men are considered armed and dangerous.

Collaborative Efforts to Locate Fugitives

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, along with the Pine Bluff Police Department, Arkansas State Police, and Arkansas Department of Correction, are collaborating to locate the fugitives. Major Bean of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office revealed that video footage indicates the inmates exited the facility on Saturday at approximately 10 p.m. Efforts are being made to track down the escapees at known residences and other frequent locations they may visit.

Public Safety Concerns

The escape has raised concerns, as the situation poses a threat to public safety. The W.C. "Dub" Brassell Adult Detention Center, where the escape occurred, is located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, just west of the Mississippi River and approximately 45 minutes from the state's capital, Little Rock.
