Illinois Jewelry Store Heist: Surveillance Footage Captures Brazen Theft in Norridge Mall

On a Sunday, March 24, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Norridge Police Department in Illinois received a report of a theft at Zevar Jewelers in the Harlem and Irving Mall. The suspects in question were at least three Black men, who were captured on video breaking into glass display cases and making off with a significant amount of merchandise.

Surveillance Footage

The police department shared a video on their Facebook page, revealing the audacious theft as it unfolded. In the footage, the three individuals are depicted standing closely together inside the store. Two of the men were carrying bags, while the third was seen stuffing jewelry into his pockets. The video then captures the sound of breaking glass, after which one of the men is seen wielding a red and white bag and smashing a glass case before promptly grabbing items from within.

Getaway and Investigation

Following the theft, the suspects fled the scene in a dark gray sedan, possibly accompanied by two other individuals. The exact value of the stolen watches and jewelry remains unknown as of now.
