Intriguing Love Affair Uncovered in Fatal Stabbing Case

Authorities have apprehended a woman and her alleged paramour over a month after her spouse was fatally stabbed outside his residence in Northern California, revealed the police. The investigation involved incriminating messages, security footage, and even a song by Selena Gomez as evidence. Parwiz Assar, 51, was found with stab wounds on October 8, after which he succumbed to his injuries at the location. The inquiry led the authorities to Seattle, where 21-year-old Samim Azizi was arrested and is currently in custody. The victim's wife, 35-year-old Razma Mohammad-Ibrahim was also taken into custody in Hayward. The couple, married for 12 years, had been encountering marital issues, and Mohammad-Ibrahim had developed a romantic relationship with Azizi. It is alleged that the pair conspired to eliminate Assar so that Mohammad-Ibrahim could leave her marriage and be with Azizi. The evidence collected by the police included surveillance footage, internet searches, and a purported text from Azizi to Mohammed-Ibrahim referencing a "strong" knife. On the night of the incident, an unidentified assailant attacked Assar as captured by his Ring doorbell camera. The victim had expressed concerns to a friend about his wife's intentions prior to the attack. Notably, a social media post made by Mohammad-Ibrahim on the day of the incident featured Selena Gomez's song "Single Soon." The couple's children are currently under the care of relatives. The U.S. Marshals Service, the Renton Police Department, the Washington State Crime Lab, and the Washington State Department of Corrections collaborated with the Hayward Police Department during the investigation. Acting Chief Bryan Matthews expressed his condolences to the family and commended the investigative efforts that led to the arrests.
