The 54-year-old singer was set to start her 30+ city tour on June 26 in Orlando, Florida, to promote her new album "This is Me…Now," which was released in February. The tour was expected to include stops in Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, and New York City, concluding in Houston on Aug. 31.
Heartfelt Apology to Fans
Lopez expressed her deep regret and sorrow over disappointing her fans, stating, "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down." She further explained, "Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary." The singer assured her supporters that she would make it up to them and pledged to reunite with them in the future.
Live Nation announced that fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster would receive automatic refunds. However, those who bought tickets from third-party resale sites such as SeatGeek, StubHub, and VividSeats would need to contact them directly for further information.
Focus on Netflix Movie "Atlas"
Amid the tour cancellation, Jennifer Lopez is currently promoting her Netflix movie "Atlas", which was released on May 24. The film's release coincided with her decision to prioritize spending time with her family and close friends.
