Joe Biden drops out of 2024 presidential race

This Sunday, July 21, President Joe Biden informed through a letter published on his social networks that he will officially withdraw from seeking presidential reelection this 2024, after multiple pressures from both Republicans and Democrats.

The Democrat published a letter in which he stated that his greatest achievement has been to be president of the United States and thanked those who have supported him in his presidential term, such as Vice President Kamala Harris. Why has Joe Biden been pressured to drop out of the race?

Both Democrats and Republicans have raised their voices to ask President Biden to take a step back and stop seeking reelection, due to his age, his health and what the polls have shown, which favored former President Donald Trump.

Even those closest to him have spoken about it, such is the case of former President Barack Obama, who asked him to seriously reconsider the future of his candidacy as his victory looked increasingly distant. In addition, it is said that influential congressmen spoke with Biden to express their concerns.

Health problems?

In addition, during the NATO conference, he confused the name of the President of Ukraine Volodymy Zelensky by introducing him as “President Putin”.The same happened with his vice-president by introducing her as Trump.
