Kansas City Chiefs' Rashee Rice Faces Legal Action Over Hit-and-Run Crash

A crash allegedly caused by the car of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, Rashee Rice, has left a Dallas couple injured and seeking legal action. The collision involving Rice and two other vehicles has raised concerns and sparked an investigation.

The Dallas couple, who were on their way to a friend's 50th birthday party, has hired an attorney and is exploring their legal options after the hit-and-run collision. The impact caused their white Lexus SUV to spin across the highway before hitting a wall, resulting in significant injuries.

“They’re angry at the situation,” Walker said in an interview. “From our perspective and their perspective, it doesn’t really matter who the people are but just the human decency element of it — the decent thing to do is to make sure that no one is harmed and comply with your legal obligations.”

Other victims in the crash include a 27-year-old woman and her 4-year-old son, whose Hyundai Accent was rendered "un-drivable." A separate victim in an Uber was also impacted in the collision, suffering substantial damages.

Rice's Response and Legal Considerations

Rice has acknowledged his involvement in the crash and has assured cooperation with the authorities to address the situation responsibly. However, questions remain about the vehicle he was driving at the time of the incident.

Vehicle Ownership and Leasing

A significant question arises regarding whether Rice was driving the black Lamborghini involved in the crash. Reports indicate that he owned the black Corvette from the crash and leased the Lamborghini from a company called Classic Lifestyle for $1,749 per day.

Kyle Coker, an attorney representing Classic Lifestyle, reportedly told TMZ Rice was the only person permitted to drive the Lamborghini and had texted a promise to pay for the totaled car after the wreck.

The individuals involved in causing the wreck were allegedly captured on video fleeing the scene, leading to an ongoing investigation by the police. Both the Chiefs and the NFL have confirmed their awareness of the situation, and authorities continue to probe the matter without officially identifying suspects.
