Lost hiker rescued in Colorado after recovering cellular phone service
A hiker in Colorado was rescued after becoming lost during a work retreat, despite facing disorientation, weather challenges, and losing cellphone service.

A man, hiking in Colorado with over a dozen coworkers during a work retreat, was rescued after becoming separated from his group for over 24 hours. The incident occurred on a Friday when the group of 15 hikers set out at sunrise from the Blanks Cabin Trailhead.
The Hiking Expedition on Mount Shavano
Part of the group undertook summit attempts on Mount Shavano while the rest ascended to the saddle and returned. According to the Chaffee County Search and Rescue, one hiker became separated from the main group after reaching the summit.
The man, after separating from his colleagues, attempted to make his way down but became disoriented after others in the group picked up the trail markers indicating their route. Concerned about his well-being, the man sent his location to his coworkers, informing them that his route was incorrect and that he should climb back up the slope to find the trail.
