Man arrested for raping 10-Year-old girl he met online in New York City

A 23-year-old man from New York City has been arrested and charged after raping a 10-year-old girl he met online earlier this month. Drequan Drayton-Howard surrendered to law enforcement and is facing charges of rape, sex abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Suspect's Actions

The suspect connected with the victim through an adult dating app and lured her to an apartment in Harlem, where the assault took place. The victim's mother was reportedly not at home during the incident. Following the rape, the suspect fled the scene, but was later apprehended by authorities.
