Mary Trump criticizes Jon Stewart's comparison of Biden and Trump as a 'danger to democracy'

Mary L. Trump, a psychologist and author, recently denounced comedian Jon Stewart's comparison of President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump as she expressed her thoughts on social media.
Stewart, known for his return to the "Daily Show" after six years, made a remark about the presidential candidates, suggesting that both are facing similar challenges due to their age. However, Mary Trump reposted the clip of Stewart’s statement and criticized the comedian’s comparison of the two men, stating that his "both sides are the same" rhetoric is not only unfunny but also poses a potential danger to democracy.
Mary Trump’s response
In a follow-up newsletter titled “Jon Stewart’s Danger to Democracy,” the outspoken critic of her uncle expressed her disapproval of Stewart’s comments, emphasizing that Donald Trump is not vibrant, productive, or capable, and characterizing him as compulsive, unhinged, and inept. She also lauded Biden's accomplishments while in office and expressed her confidence in his ability to give "American democracy a fighting chance," despite his age. Mary Trump did not hold back, labeling her uncle as a “fascist,” a “cruel, unfit rapist,” and a criminal defendant under four indictments who sides with enemies at every opportunity.
