On June 6th, a Massachusetts woman was taken into custody in Bedford on charges of fatally shooting two individuals, believed to be her parents, as confirmed by Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan in a press briefing. The 24-year-old woman faces accusations of murder, assault and battery, as well as unlawful possession of a weapon.

The accused woman was scheduled to make a court appearance at the district court in Concord on the same day, mentioned Ryan. However, it was uncertain if she had legal representation at that time.

Ryan elaborated that law enforcement received a 911 call in the morning from an individual who reported that the woman had entered their residence and disclosed the shootings. Upon investigation, a man and a woman, both 56 years old, were discovered with gunshot wounds inside a parked car near the property. Tragically, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man sustained critical injuries and was transported to a medical facility for treatment. Furthermore, a firearm was retrieved from the location.
