In a significant bust, authorities in Oregon have arrested four individuals with ties to an international drug trafficking ring in Mexico, seizing 1.4 metric tons of liquid heroin. The operation unfolded on January 25 at a motel in Tigard, where investigators apprehended four suspects transporting multiple barrels of illegal narcotics in a rented moving truck.
Details of the Bust
Upon obtaining federal search warrants, officials discovered eight 55-gallon barrels containing 370 gallons of liquid heroin inside the moving truck, along with two loaded handguns in the suspects' motel room. The narcotics, weighing 1.4 metric tons, were confirmed to be liquid heroin after testing.
Arrested Individuals
The arrested individuals have been identified as Marco Antonio Magallon, 44; Luis Deleon Woodward, 26; and Jorge Luis Amador, 25, all of Yakima, Washington, and Santos Alisael Aguilar Maya, 32, whose place of residence is unknown. They are facing charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute heroin and possess with intent to distribute heroin.
