Migrant Caught on Video Cutting Border Razor Wire, Leading Dozens Into US Illegally
Migrant used bolt cutters to snip razor wire, leading others to enter US illegally. National Guard stopped the attempt.

In a recent incident near Gate 45 at the U.S. border with Mexico, a migrant was captured on video attempting to cut razor wire and fencing, to create an opening for dozens of migrants to enter the country illegally.
The group of migrants was intercepted by members of the Texas National Guard, who prevented them from entering the U.S. territory. This incident followed a similar one near Gate 36, where over 100 people confronted National Guard soldiers, resulting in minor injuries to some troops. One migrant was charged with assault on a public servant and is currently in custody.
Security Measures
The wire and fencing, which were cut during the incident, had been recently installed by the National Guard and Texas Department of Public Safety as part of efforts to discourage illegal border crossings and direct migrants to use legal points of entry.
Officials in Texas are reviewing security footage to identify others involved in the incident, while members of the Texas National Guard and U.S. Customs and Border Protection have not yet commented on the matter.
The authorities are continuing to take measures to strengthen border security and prevent unauthorized entry into the U.S.
As incidents like these continue to occur, there is an increasing need for comprehensive policies and security measures to address the challenges at the U.S.-Mexico border.
