
Missing Ohio Teen Found Safe, Boyfriend in Custody After Amber Alert Abduction

Authorities in Ohio have reported that 15-year-old Kaylee Cope, who was the subject of an Amber Alert, has been found safe after allegedly being abducted by her 17-year-old boyfriend, Jeffery Gimenez.
Abduction and Video Post
Cope's mother, Heather Zogleman, reported her missing after she was unable to reach her by phone. Shortly before the report, Gimenez had allegedly posted a video of himself holding a handgun, stating that he "has a bullet" for Cope.
Police Investigation and Recovery
After learning that Cope was with Gimenez, the police found the video he posted and recovered a stolen vehicle believed to be connected to the case. Gimenez had allegedly taken Cope at around 11:30 p.m. on Friday. Warrants were issued for Gimenez for robbery and felony kidnapping, as he was thought to be possibly armed and dangerous.
Suspect in Custody
Gimenez has been taken into custody, and he was last seen driving a silver Honda sedan with black tinted windows that may have been stolen. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children had reported this information before Cope and the suspect were found.
