New police bodycam footage released by Nashville police shows the last encounter with missing college student Riley Strain on March 8.

College Student Riley Strain Disappeared in Nashville
A new police body camera footage revealed a friendly encounter between Riley Strain, a 22-year-old senior at the University of Missouri, and a Metro Nashville Police officer on the evening of March 8, just before his disappearance.
Disappearance
Strain disappeared after a night out drinking with friends during his fraternity's spring formal trip to Nashville. No evidence of foul play has been found as authorities continue to search for him. According to reports, Riley's parents met with the detective team to receive a full briefing and view available video footage.
Police Inquiry
The police body camera footage shows Strain briefly exchanging greetings with Officer Reginald Young on Gay St., south of the Woodland St. Bridge, on the night of 3/8. He did not appear distressed during the encounter.
Bank Card Found
Riley's bank card was found in the same area where surveillance video captured him walking at 9:47 p.m. on the evening of his disappearance. The location was very close to where his phone last pinged on Gay Street.
Last Sighting
Prior to his phone pinging on Gay Street, Strain was last seen at Luke Bryan's bar in downtown Nashville. The bar mentioned that they served Strain one drink before asking him to leave based on their conduct standards. Surveillance video from the bar did not show any physical altercation involving Riley.
Family's Concern
Strain's cousin expressed deep concern about his disappearance, stating that he is not one to leave without informing anyone. She mentioned that he is in regular contact with his family, and they are all worried about his wellbeing.
