North Carolina College Student Found Dead in Car Trunk; Suspect Arrested for Murder

A tragic discovery was made when the body of a young woman was found inside the trunk of a vehicle that was being towed off a private lot in Beaufort County, North Carolina. The victim, believed to be a 19-year-old student at Elizabeth City State University, was found in a vehicle owned by Jordan Isaiah Thomas.

Charges and Investigation

While the positive identification and cause of death are pending, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI) has charged Thomas with murder, larceny of a motor vehicle, and concealing the death of a person. Investigators believe that Thomas and the victim knew each other, and the case is still under investigation.
