Norwegian Police Seek Rinson Jose in Connection to Hezbollah Pager Sales and Disappearance
Norwegian police seek Rinson Jose for his alleged connection to pagers sold to Hezbollah; he vanished during a work trip to the U.S. last week.

In a recent turn of events, Norwegian authorities have initiated an international search for Rinson Jose, a 39-year-old Norwegian-Indian individual connected to the sale of pagers to the militant group Hezbollah. The request comes in the wake of an incident involving the said pagers that occurred last week. Jose reportedly vanished while on a work trip to the United States.
His name is associated with a Bulgarian company that is alleged to have been involved in the supply chain of the pagers in question. On September 25, the Oslo police district received a report regarding Jose's disappearance in relation to the ongoing investigation into the pagers. Consequently, a missing persons case was filed, and an international warrant was issued for his apprehension.
Disappearance and Connections
Jose's disappearance came to light when his employer, DN Media Group, revealed that he had traveled to Boston for a conference on September 17, and subsequent attempts to contact him have proven unsuccessful since September 18. Jose is associated with the sales department of the company.
Additionally, in 2022, he founded a company named Norta Global Ltd, which is registered in Sofia, Bulgaria. Bulgarian authorities have conducted inquiries regarding the company's involvement in supplying booby-trapped pagers; however, they have not uncovered any evidence indicating that the devices were manufactured or exported from Bulgaria.
