On March 22, a shocking discovery was made in a luxury apartment building in the Bronx, New York City. The deceased body of a 70-year-old woman was found stuffed inside a garbage bag. The victim, who hailed from Georgia, was staying with relatives in the Bronx apartment at the time of the incident.
Findings and Arrests
The victim was discovered by her daughter-in-law, who is the tenant of record at the apartment. Subsequently, four individuals were taken into custody for questioning. These individuals, two men and two women, are related to the victim. Following the questioning, three of them were released, while Inga Bearden, 53, was charged with concealment of a corpse, a felony. The exact relationship between Bearden and the victim remains unclear. Additionally, two squatters were arrested in Pennsylvania after leaving New York in a stolen SUV that belonged to another woman found deceased in her apartment in the Kips Bay neighborhood.
Autopsy Results Awaited
Authorities have indicated that there were no signs of physical trauma to the victim's body. However, the police are awaiting the results of the autopsy to determine the cause of death.

This tragic discovery comes in the wake of another recent incident, where a 52-year-old woman, Nadia Vitel, was found stuffed inside a duffel bag in her apartment in the Kips Bay neighborhood. The perpetrators fled the scene and were later apprehended in Pennsylvania after crashing the stolen SUV.
