Oklahoma Man Arrested for Alleged Pipe Bomb Attack on The Satanic Temple Headquarters
Oklahoma man arrested for throwing pipe bomb at Satanic Temple headquarters in Massachusetts. Group promotes secularism, denies Satan worship. Man faces prison.

Law enforcement officials have arrested a suspect in connection with a pipe bomb attack on the Massachusetts headquarters of The Satanic Temple. The arrest comes after the Salem-based group, known for advocating secularism and individual liberties, was targeted in a violent incident last week.
The suspect, identified as Sean Patrick Palmer, 49, of Perkins, Oklahoma, has been charged with using an explosive device to damage the building, which also functions as an art gallery. Palmer is set to make an initial court appearance in Oklahoma on Thursday and could potentially face up to 20 years in prison along with a fine of up to $250,000 if found guilty.
Incident Details and Investigation
Surveillance footage from the scene revealed that the perpetrator, wearing a face covering, tactical vest and gloves, approached the building around 4 a.m. on April 8 and ignited an improvised explosive device at the main entrance before fleeing. The bomb caused minor fire damage upon detonation and was found to be constructed from plastic pipe. Law enforcement was able to extract a DNA sample from a hair found on the device.
Additionally, a six-page note addressed to "Dear Satanist" and advocating repentance was discovered in a flowerbed near the site of the attack. Authorities noted that the suspect had posted similar sentiments on social media, and surveillance footage showed a vehicle registered to Palmer driving erratically in the vicinity before and after the incident.
Group's Response
The Satanic Temple, known for its disbelief in the supernatural and the literal existence of Satan, has not issued an immediate comment following the attack. The organization, which promotes its advocacy through its website, remains a proponent of secularism and individual rights.
The Oklahoma man's arrest marks a development in the investigation into the targeted attack on The Satanic Temple's headquarters and underscores the ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and security of organizations and groups advocating for diverse beliefs and perspectives.
