One Georgia inmate apprehended; one fugitive remains at large

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office reported that Johnifer Dernard Barnwell, aged 37, was found inside a residence on Alpine Drive in Augusta around 8 a.m.Deputies and members of the FBI discovered a significant quantity of narcotics within the premises during Barnwell's capture. The substances, suspected to include methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, marijuana, and cocaine, are yet to be tested by the FBI Atlanta, as reported by FOX5 Atlanta. Approximately a month after their escape from the Bibb County Detention Center, Macon, Barnwell is the second inmate to be apprehended, leaving two fugitives outstanding. The other inmates who fled alongside Barnwell were identified as Marc K. Anderson, aged 24, Chavis Stokes, aged 29, and Joey Fournier, aged 52. Authorities successfully located Anderson in Atlanta on November 3, while Stokes was captured in Montezuma on October 26. Fournier, a white male with gray hair and blue eyes, weighing 140 pounds and standing 5 feet 9 inches tall, is still on the run. He was incarcerated for murder.
