Orlando Airport to Charge $9 Daily Fee for Central Rental Car Facility Construction
Orlando International Airport plans to build a new rental car facility and raise fees to free up terminal parking space.

Orlando International Airport is implementing a fee hike to fund a new consolidated rental car facility, with the aim of expanding parking space.
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Board approved the increase to $9 per day, effective Nov. 1, up from $6 in 2023. This fee will support the construction of a facility that will free up space currently occupied in terminal parking garages, similar to those at Tampa International Airport, which resulted in a significant increase in parking capacity.
Funding Expansion Plans
The fee increase is designed to provide the necessary funds for the construction of a consolidated rental car facility. By reallocating space currently occupied by terminal parking garages, Orlando International Airport aims to expand its parking capacity, ensuring improved convenience for travelers.
