Philadelphia police officer shot in the neck during traffic stop, in critical condition.

On Saturday evening, a 31-year-old Philadelphia police officer was shot in the neck during a traffic stop in the Kensington neighborhood, and is currently "fighting for his life." The officer, who is a husband and father, is on life support at Temple University Hospital, according to city officials.
Details of the Incident
The incident occurred when the officer and his partner conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle carrying four individuals. Upon inspecting the car, the officers noticed a holster, and as they proceeded, one man fled and fired three shots at the officers. Tragically, one of the officers was struck in the neck, while the other officer returned fire. The wounded officer’s partner swiftly drove him to the hospital, and he is currently in critical condition in the surgical ICU.
Following the shooting, a manhunt was launched for the person of interest, who was eventually taken into custody after two barricade situations. Additionally, all other individuals present in the car at the time of the shooting were also apprehended by the authorities.
