Police search for active shooter, suspect identified in Pennsylvania triple homicide
Andre Gordon, who has killed three people and is on the loose. He is armed and extremely dangerous.
Authorities in Falls Township, Pennsylvania have issued a shelter-in-place order as they search for an active shooter responsible for the deaths of at least three people.
Suspect Identified
The suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Andre Gordon, who was last seen driving a stolen vehicle. Gordon is considered armed and extremely dangerous, according to the Falls Township Police Department.
Details of the Shootings
At approximately 8:52 a.m. on Saturday, police were called to the unit block of Viewpoint Lane in Levittown to investigate reports of a shooting. A preliminary investigation revealed that Gordon allegedly shot and killed two individuals at the residence.
Gordon then reportedly went to the unit block of Edgewood Lane at around 9:01 a.m. where he allegedly shot and killed another individual before fleeing the scene.
Carjacking Incident
About 12 minutes later, Gordon is said to have carjacked a victim at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Dollar General in Bristol Pike, Morrisville. Fortunately, the carjacking victim was unharmed.
Law Enforcement Response
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has been briefed on the situation and has directed the Pennsylvania State Police to support local law enforcement. Meanwhile, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and other law enforcement officials are involved in the investigation and are urging residents to report any suspicious activity.
