Poll Shows Trump Leading GOP Race in New Hampshire

A recent poll conducted by Boston Globe/Suffolk University/NBC-10 Boston indicates that former President Donald Trump maintains a significant advantage in New Hampshire as the state’s primary approaches. The survey, which targeted likely Republican primary voters, found that Trump commands 50 percent of the support. Following behind is former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, who secured 34 percent, with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis trailing at 5 percent. The survey also highlighted that 87 percent of respondents expressed a strong commitment to their chosen candidate. This latest poll aligns with previous ones, which similarly placed Trump in the lead and Haley in second. In response to her third place ranking in the Iowa caucuses, Haley has intensified her criticisms of Trump, positioning the primary as a contest between the two of them. In turn, Trump has not shied away from denouncing Haley's toughness and conservative credentials. The Boston Globe/Suffolk University/NBC-10 Boston poll is part of a daily tracking survey released prior to the New Hampshire primary, with each poll reflecting a two-day rolling average of 500 likely voters and a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.
