President Biden condemned efforts to diminish the acknowledgment of Black history, citing instances of book bans and attacks on diversity programs. He firmly stated that Black history is an integral part of American history and should be embraced and safeguarded. “Our history is not just about the past. It’s about our present and our future. It’s whether that future is a future for all of us, not just for some of us,” he emphasized.
