Russian Missile Attack on Ukrainian Port City Leaves Five Dead and Dozens Injured

The office of Ukraine’s Prosecutor General released dramatic video footage that captured the devastating impact of the missile attack. The visuals depicted the detonation of dozens of bomblets within seconds of each other in an area close to the seafront. Furthermore, other videos and pictures shared by officials showcased the flames engulfing the cone-shaped towers and roof of an educational institution that is locally known as the “Harry Potter castle” due to its resemblance to a Scottish baronial pile.

Weaponry Used

Ukrainian authorities have reason to believe that Russia employed an Iskander ballistic missile and cluster munitions in this horrific attack. Metal fragments and missile debris were recovered within a 1.5 km radius from the attack site, indicating the scale of destruction caused by these lethal weapons. Shockingly, it is reported that two children and a pregnant woman were among those injured in the assault.
