Sean 'Diddy' Combs Faces Lawsuit for Alleged Drugging and Sexual Assault of Model

Lawsuit accuses Sean "Diddy" Combs of drugging and sexually assaulting a model in 2003, impacting her career and mental health.

A new lawsuit filed in New York federal court has accused hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs of drugging and sexually assaulting a model back in 2003. The lawsuit, brought forward by Crystal McKinney under the NYC Gender Motivated Violence Act, claims that she was a victim of violence based on gender and is seeking legal action against Combs and his associated entities.

The Incident with Sean "Diddy" Combs

The lawsuit alleges that in 2003, a 22-year-old McKinney, who was a rising fashion model at the time, was introduced to Combs by an unnamed fashion designer. The suit claims that McKinney was specifically dressed and styled to appeal to Combs' taste before being taken to meet him at a New York City restaurant.

According to the lawsuit, Combs made flirtatious and sexually suggestive remarks about McKinney in front of others before inviting her to his recording studio, where he allegedly gave her a joint laced with drugs and pressured her to consume more alcohol and marijuana.

The lawsuit further claims that after McKinney became intoxicated, Combs forced her to perform oral sex on him before she lost consciousness and later woke up in a cab.

Legal Action

McKinney is also suing Combs' record label, Bad Boy Entertainment, his label's distributor, Universal Music Group, and Combs' fashion brand, Sean John Clothing. She alleges that her modeling opportunities disappeared after the incident due to Combs' influence, leading to anxiety, depression, and addiction issues.

Reactions and Previous Incidents

CBS News reached out to Combs' representatives, while Universal Music Group declined to comment as the lawsuit is under legal review. This lawsuit follows the recent airing of a security video by CNN, allegedly showing Combs attacking singer Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel hallway in 2016.

Earlier this month, Combs asked to dismiss a lawsuit alleging that he and two co-defendants raped a 17-year-old girl in a New York recording studio in 2003, labeling it as a false claim.

Legal Raids and Other Accusations

In March, Combs' homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security Investigations agents and other law enforcement officers, related to a possible ongoing sex trafficking investigation.

Other accusations against Combs surfaced in November last year from two women, adding to the scrutiny around the music mogul.

These allegations add to the ongoing legal challenges for Combs, with various lawsuits and accusations being brought forward over the past months, contributing to a cloud of controversy surrounding the artist.
