Silverstone's Transformation: From Country Fair to Global Motorsport Hub
Silverstone has evolved in 22 years, securing a 10-year F1 contract. It aims to be a global motor racing hub. New facilities include a hotel and track-side residences.

Silverstone, once criticized by Bernie Ecclestone, has secured its position as a major player in the world of motorsport. The 10-year contract signed in February ensures that the British Grand Prix will continue at Silverstone until 2034, marking a significant shift from its previous perception.
Diversification beyond the racetrack
The managing director, Stuart Pringle, expressed his ambitious vision for Silverstone, aiming to elevate its status to the global headquarters of motor racing. The circuit has evolved to offer more than just racing, with the introduction of the Wing, an advanced pit-and-paddock complex with versatile facilities. Additionally, the venue now boasts an interactive museum, a prestigious hotel, and upcoming plans for luxury track-side residences and a world-class go-kart track.
Embracing a multi-faceted approach, Silverstone has strategically positioned itself to cater to a diverse audience, transcending its traditional role as a motorsport circuit.
