In South Carolina, a group of teenagers on a four-wheeler and a motorcycle caused destruction at a turkey house and farms, resulting in the death of over 200 birds, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office confirmed. The deputies were summoned to a residence in east Sumter County on a Monday due to a civil dispute. The property owner had reported the incident and requested an investigation.

Investigation Findings

Upon investigation, it was revealed that the owner had asked the teenagers to vacate the premises on Sunday after discovering the doors to the turkey houses opened and tracks from an ATV and a motorcycle inside. Furthermore, upon entering the turkey houses, the owner found a disturbing sight: over 200 birds dead or seemingly trampled to death inside. The deputies also discovered that the teenagers had caused damage to the crops on the property.
